💀 WHY IS THIS STILL HAPPENING... After a full year, the dreaded “Joining failed - could not retrieve address” bug is STILL haunting ARK — but now on Xbox Series X. I ran into it live while streaming and had to fix it mid-chat. This video shows exactly how I got ARK working again.
If you’ve been stuck with this bug, this might be your solution. It’s an update to my original 2020 fix and the 2022 follow-up. I’m not sure if this works on other platforms, but it’s what worked for me on Xbox Series X.
