Can’t Connect to Xbox Live from Xbox One

Hello and Welcome to my Guides and Tutorials, on this post we are going to fix the Connect to Xbox Live problem with Xbox One.

If your console is connected to the Internet but no matter what you do, you are just unable to connect to Xbox Live this is what you need to do to fix it.

So how does THIS happen?

Well to be completely honest, I have no clue as of why it happens, some of us think that is because the network connection was lost during a scheduled sync of the profile, others say it might be a random problem with the account.

How to fix the Connect to Xbox Live problem with Xbox One:

Fixing this problem is actually quite simple, just follow every step in this guide and everything will go back to normal.

Step 1 – Remove your Account from the Console

To do this just open the Settings App by double tapping the Xbox Button on your controller, then scroll down to the gear icon (Settings) and Select All Settings.

Look for the account tab and select Remove Accounts.

Click on your account and remove it.

Big Important Note!

This won’t delete anything but your profile, all your games, game progress, game saves, DLCs, videos, etc. will remain intact.

So don’t panic, your stuff is safe, trust me.

Step 2 Clear the System’s Cache (Optional)

After you removed the account I personally recommend clearing the system, you can skip this part if you feel like it.

To do this just open the Settings App by double tapping the Xbox Button on your controller, then scroll down to the gear icon (Settings) and Select All Settings.

Look for the Disc & Blu-ray option and then select Blu-ray

After you click  the Blu-ray option you will see an option called Persistent Storage, click that and then click clear, to this 4 – 5 times.

Step 3 Restart the Console (Massively Important)

Once you removed the account and cleared the system cache, its time for the console to finalize the changes by doing a full system reboot.

To do this just double tap the Xbox Button on your controller, then scroll down to the gear icon (Settings) and Select Restart.

Confirm that you want to restart by clicking YES.

Step 4 Adding the Account Back to the Console

After the console restarts and you are back at the dashboard, its time to add your account again.

To do this, use your controller to Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide, then just look for the option Add & manage and click that.

A new Window will show up, it will have a huge empty circle called Add New. Click that and enter your email address.

Super Mega Important Note!

Make sure that you do not select Get a new account, that will delete everything on your account and will make a new one using your existing email address, so avoid that box at all costs.

After you enter the email, press the menu button on the controller and then enter the password for your account.

If for some reason you forgot your password or email , use the buttons below, if you are totally lost, use the last button.

That’s It!

Just wait for the console to finish syncing your profile and your back on Xbox Live.
